Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her portrayal of Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches the art of drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her first childhood memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for shows. Silk was the subject of several commercials while she was still young. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at minimum two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto in order to develop her acting skills in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved from Toronto to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she saw him in 2007 during an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married during 2009 and then married during a civil ceremony December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk had one son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second son who was born on the 13th May 2016. Silk is best known for her part on TV in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was offered the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus for the Canadian TV show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming the conclusion of the third series. She announced the baby's pregnancy to viewers during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special which aired on January 6. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was getting ready to go back to work on the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in the show Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! Magazine has declared them to be the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
